I've been going gray, not prematurely though. I went on a trip to Italy and my gray was growing back in while I was gone (I was there for a while). I decided not to color it anymore when I returned home. I wouldn't have done it without the support of my husband. I don't care what anyone else thinks either, and nobody says anything to me, but I'm not young, so I guess people expect me to go gray.
The only person who has said anything somewhat derogatory has been my mom, but she usually doesn't have anything complementary to say anyway (what is it with moms?).
When COVID hit, all the women my age were freaking out because they wouldn't be able to get their hair colored. I chuckled inside because I don't have that problem, hehe.
I recently bought a hairspray that has some brunette coloring that takes the edge off. I don't use it all the time, but I like that I have something I can use to temporarily tone down the gray.
Thanks, Sabrina! Great article!
