This happened to my pub The Virago. A writer submitted a great article and I published it. The original writer (who is also a writer on the pub) brought it to my attention. I read both articles — Almost identical. I immediately took the blog down and let the plagiarist know. It was a betrayal all around.

I also found a random Facebook post from a woman that took a paragraph from one of my articles and posted it as if she’d written it. I was fuming mad! There are so many things to write about, why copy someone else? I don’t get it. But I bet as a writer, we will experience this at some point.
